Ferrell-Ross offers Custom and Commercial Fabrication, Welding and Machining Services in addition to our Roll Grinding and Corrugating Services. Our 50,000 Square foot manufacturing facility and equipment are well suited to today’s demands for high quality and quick turn around. We work with most types of metals including aluminum, mild and high strength steels, alloy and stainless steels from 24 gauge to 2 inches thick and bar sizes to 18 inches in diameter. Our 10-ton capacity bridge cranes have 30 feet under hook available for material handling. Conventional Machine tools consist of Milling Machines with DROs, Large and Small Engine Lathes, Horizontal Boring Mills, Radial Arm Drills and a full complement of other tools including Automatic Band Saws, Cutoff Saws, Turret Lathes, Broaches, Hydraulic Presses, Shears and Grinders. CNC Equipment include (2) two CNC Machining Centers, (2) CNC Turret Lathes up to 18” diameter swing and 36” between centers, a High Definition Hypertherm CNC Plasma Table capable of cutting up to 72” x 144 x 5/8 in Mild Steel and up to ½ inch in Stainless, a LVD CNC 180 Ton X 14 ft Press Brake plus a heavy duty CNC 230 Ton Bertch X 12 ft Press Brake. Our Welding processes include MIG, TIG, Stick and Flux Core. Our shop has a complete staff of skilled experienced machinists, fabricators, welders and assembly mechanics who pay attention to quality. We can work to customer provided designs or we can reverse engineer your existing sample. Our Engineers utilize CAD Software to design most anything from simple parts to modeling complex assemblies. We are available to custom engineer a solution to your most demanding process challenges. Typical fabrication and machining experience include all types of Non Code Pressure Vessels, Tanks, Bins, Structural Steel Stands, Mixers, Blenders, Conveyors, Grain Cleaners, Elevator Legs, and Cyclones as well as commercial cutting, shearing, forming and machining of piece parts for assembly in your plant or ours.
